Two days ago I went to the gym and continued my use of the 5x5 program, doing workout B. My workout consisted of...

Squat 260Lbs 5x5x5x5x5 Shoulder Press 130Lbs 3x3x3x3x3 Deadlifts 296Lbs 3

Sadly I failed with the shoulder press and the deadlift so I'm going to have to try again next workout B and hope for the best.

  1. That's impressive though. What exactly is a 5x5 program. I would guess that you're looking at doing 5 reps and 5 sets of them? For a total of 25 reps. Keep it up! And I'm sure you'll be soon getting your shoulder press up there.
